Robert F Kennedy Jr, responding to the Biden Admin’s actions said: ‘As President Biden’s cognitive competence comes under attack by the mainstream media, the DNC is doubling down on its strategy of keeping viable, non-Trump, candidates off the ballot. The DNC’s disenfranchised cartel today filed a vague and specious claim against our campaign for allegedly colluding with the American Values Super PAC. Our campaign has complied in every regard with the letter and spirit of federal election laws with a transparency that is absent in every other campaign. As of now, Kennedy has qualified for the ballot in Utah and recently reported gathering enough signatures to appear on the ballot in New Hampshire. Despite garnering support from conservatives, moderates, independents, and Libertarians, he faces accusations of receiving more support from Republican-leaning donors than from Democrats, as indicated by campaign finance reports.
The complaint alleges that American Values 2024’s actions are an attempt to circumvent election laws and prop up Kennedy’s candidacy. In response, American Values 2024 co-chairman Anthony Lyons defended the super PAC’s independent efforts, claiming they are working in accordance with FEC precedent. He accused the DNC of attempting to deny millions of Americans their constitutional voting rights and labeled the FEC complaint as a desperate tactic to defame Kennedy and drain his campaign funds.
Kennedy himself addressed the allegations, portraying them as politically motivated and an effort to divert attention from the DNC’s own challenges. He asserted that the DNC, given its recent controversies and refusal to hold a primary, lacks the moral authority to accuse others.
