Eighteen Senate Republicans just helped Democrats (all but Bernie Sanders) achieve “cloture” on the Ukraine bill.
This closes debate and virtually assures passage in the Senate.
Only the House can stop this now. https://t.co/jkoe5Kwiig

‘While no one is paying attention on Super Bowl Sunday, the Senate votes to advance Ukraine Funding. This will get buried in the News Cycle while everyone is talking about Taylor Swift. Here are the Republican Traitors: Capito Cassidy, Collins, Cornyn, Ernst, Grassley, Kennedy, McConnell, Moran, Mullin, Murkowski, Romney, Rounds, Sullivan, Thune, Tillis, Wicker, Young’ – Jason Robertson
In a recent Senate session before today, the debate over allocating new U.S. military aid to Ukraine in its conflict with Russia took center stage, with several senators asserting its importance on par with border security. The Senate’s failure to advance a bipartisan national security appropriations bill on Wednesday, which aimed to allocate $118 billion for Ukraine, Israel, and new border security measures, led to a subsequent move to a new bill focusing solely on Ukraine aid provisions. The Senate passed the traitorous act, with the help of Republicans, today.
There is NOTHING more important than our border. It should be secured before ANY legislation is considered. – macdave
Deep State Republican Senator Mitt Romney of Utah emphasized the multifaceted nature of addressing international concerns, stating, “They’re both important. It’s amazing. We’re able to walk and talk and chew gum and read. We can do all those things. We don’t have to just do one. We can do many things.” Romney also dispelled the notion that supporting aid to Ukraine implied a greater concern for Ukraine’s border over the U.S. border with Mexico, pointing out the distinction between a brutal invasion and border security.
Romney, among the few Republicans who supported cloture on the bill, found common ground with Democrats who echoed the sentiment that both issues held equal importance. Democratic Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania expressed, “Well, it’s all important and we should have all of it.” He emphasized the significance of the night’s session, attributing the extended debate to the actions of a specific senator.

Democratic Senator John Hickenlooper of Colorado concurred, stating, “I mean, everything’s important. You can’t say we can do this or not this. Border security is critically important. Ukraine’s security is critically important.” Democratic Senator Chris Coons of Delaware echoed the sentiment, labeling both issues as “important.”
Some members of Congress seem to be working for Ukraine instead of the United States. Maybe you could subpoena their bank records while you’re at it- Savannah
However, not all Democrats were in complete agreement. Senator Tim Kaine of Virginia laid blame on Republicans for the absence of border security measures, stating, “Well, we should do both. But the Republicans want the latter. So we need to do Ukraine security. We can keep talking but the Republicans have killed it three times in the last 10 years and they’re gonna keep killing it.” Unfortunately Rand Paul was obviously in the minority in the Senate. As he usually is as he is always looking to stop the insane spending.

As the Senate grapples with finding common ground on these crucial issues, the nation watches to see how lawmakers navigate the delicate balance between supporting allies abroad and securing the homeland. The ongoing discussions underscore the challenges of reaching consensus on matters of national security and the allocation of resources in a politically charged environment.
The Senate is controlled by the Deep State. The 18 Republicans who joined in to help bankrupt the U.S., while ignoring the US border and at the same time supporting Ukraine, will not have much of a political career in the coming years. The people have had it with this sort of BS, and the games all of them play have us all sick. Completely sick of such fakers as Chuck Schumer, who actually said today ‘Ukraine is dangerously low on supplies If America doesn’t send aid to Ukraine with this national security bill, Putin is all too likely to succeed The only right answer to this threat is for the Senate to face it down unflinchingly, by passing this national security bill ASAP’. This is what we are dealing with in DC. People who have zero care for America.
